I have seen a geat many Vlchek wrenches but none like this one. The first thing I noticed was that it looks almost brand new. Next, I noticed the little 'trophy' looking logo, which I haven't seen before that I recall. Also, I don't ever remember seeing a Vlchek new enough to have the R in a circle trademark registration logo. The "MFD" "USA" looks strangely reminiscent of Thorsen too. The opposite side has no markings except a tiny N forged in near the open end. Anyone else have one like this? When did the R in a circle become common place?

I posted one of those a year or so ago, no one else had a clue about the trophy either...
The vlchek name was used for a while after they were bought....(stamped on to wrenches made by Pendleton/proto)

Of the 40 plus WBE series wrenches I have collected up, only a few have the "trophy". I believe it to be one of the last of the WBE series design changes. So far, I have identified at least three design changes in the WBE series, there may be more upon closer inspection of my wrenches. I don't know why I like them, but I set out to put a set of the WBE series together to use. Now, I'm finding I want to put a set of each design together to keep and use.
