Post by: EVILDR235 on June 05, 2011, 08:23:07 PM
One of the wrenches I picked up today was a 18 inch Diamond adjustable auto wrench. It is in excellent condition with only very fine surface rust. Jaws show no wear whatsoever. Plain steel finish. Factory marked
DIAMOND----U.S.A.
FORGED---C718
Railroad marked
SPTCO/SSWRY
Southern Pacfic Transportion company / St. Louis Southwestern Railway.

I will be selling this one.

SSY RY is the St Louis Southwestern RY, better known as the "Cotton Belt"

Cotton Belt was a large Railroad in Dallas, TX.
In fact, the North Dallas Tollway was built exactly on this railroad bed.
Quite a few homes on each side were "razed".
