Found this this morning at my local, friendly flea market. Talked to the Mercedes parts people to understand more about the wrench's provenance. Turns out it was used on 190 220, and 280 SL cars (Those sexy two-seaters). It was also used on the unsexy190 4-door sedan. The 17 mm socket will work on today's Mercedes. Dowidat made this, and this fact is stamped on the back
I hurried home with this prize, cleaned it up, so I can put it on eBay tonight!

Post what it brings, I am curious, I have heard here on this forum that that these M.B tools bring some money.
-
Jason,
I will do that. Right now, I've got one watcher.

OH, thats me, but Im not interested in buying it, cust curious what it sells for!
-
Gotcha...just kidding
-
I saw one on ebay just like it a little while ago. Price was $20 ;D
-
I'm encouraged!
-
If it came in a tool kit, you should do well, but if it was just a shop toll, not so much.
BUT- if $20 or more makes you a dollar, or ten- go for it!
-
Don't underestimate the shop tools, some of them were expensive, and are hard to find.
The lug wrench isn't chromed, so it's early, probably only for a 190.
-
Rusty,
It looks as if it had been chromed at one time. Suffice it to say, there was no rust and no pitting on this wrench.

The Mercedes lug wrench did not sell at $20 on eBay. I put it back on at $9.99. We'll see. Later.
