Title: JD H68 & 136
Post by: jimwrench on March 02, 2012, 10:57:36 AM
Sometimes you have to buy the shape. These three wrenchs were in an auction box and had no identifiable markings. After some searching the small one turns out to be a JD H68 and the larger one is evidently  the JD 136 . Haven't identified the other oew but it is 3/4 & 1 1/8 openings and 10 inch overall length and looks like an implement wrench. If you know it would appreciate id.They won't make me rich but better than a sharp stick in eye.

Look's like the IHC  950 Jim. I'm thinking the 950 is stamped on the big end but there's one that's not marked also.

I think the Deere might be the 136 or the 157 based on the size comparison to the H68. They are both 10" and I think all the 196's were shortrer coming in at around 7". Just a thought.

 Thanks Bear and Strongman,
Believe the unmarked one is the McCormick 950. Found pictures of it and the H68 in 2005 Cabin Fever Auction. Item 378 & 309 respectively.
Also agree on the larger John Deere. It is 10 in long. It is marked ,but mark is not really legible but 136 looks likely.

Great find! The H68 is kinda rare. Hard to find not broken.
