Title: Snap-On 9/32" Drive Speed Handle
Post by: OilyRascal on February 12, 2012, 06:56:41 PM
I have a Snap-On 9/32" drive speed handle.  I picked it up in a tool lot purchase around XMAS time when a guy was selling off his tools.  I have no need for it and I think I saw where others may collect the 9/32" drive tools.

Vintage Snap On M44 9/32" Drive Speed Handle: I  could not find this item in the quick reference list on  http://www.collectingsnapon.com/socket_sets/C9-32inch/9-32%20part%20number%20guide.html

Could you please give me some reference for that speed handle? Thank you.

P.S. In case I  decide to purchase, I  would have no problem in having an U.S.  friend purchasing it on my behalf.

The M-44 does not show up in the catalogs.  It is a speeder from the early 40s.  There are two versions.

This tool lot had Snap-On tools mostly dated in '53, '54, 58, and '59.  I'm not saying that is the date range, just trying to help with it's ID.  I was unable to find a datecode on the speeder.  I'll gladly inspect again if there are hints as to where it may be, or other hints as to it's age.  It is NOT chrome, and I don't believe it ever was.  This is one of very few Snap-On tools I've seen with no date code stamped.

Lucakiki - If it was to be purchased by a member here I will work with them to ship it internationally, so long as they will absorb any cost above shipping CONUS.

Luca can pay you by Paypal and have it shipped to his contact here in the US. He is a good member and a good buyer.
