Title: thank you usps
Post by: amertrac on January 20, 2012, 12:52:35 PM
while inventorying pliers I found using small flat rate boxes really helps, they stack nice and use a small space
inventory pliers enough to fill the box  mark box with a b number (b-1)and a list of inventory numbers of pliers.instead of sealing box put a couple strips of nylon filament tape, for the larger pliers i use a medium box .I have from six to fifteen pliers in a box and so far I have 9 boxes.i keep a cover sheet of all in an envelope taped to the no 1 box and have location on master tool inventory on the computer. i do' t think I left any thing out.except putting it all on a disc for record keeping off property. Maybe I  have too much time on my hands    bob w.

Tell you the truth my supplier is a little slow .sometimes he don't have the size i need. I am just about done with pliers now i may start on small adj. wrenches. the boxes really store well  bob w.

I've got an old Gambles metal tool box with drawers that would make for a "classic" storage mode for your pliers....uh, I mean USPS boxes.....lol

Rust is my favorite color....except on Plomb tools....
