This was just too cute to pass up. I don't know what it is but I like it. It's a heavy little thing, about 4 and 1/4" long, the handle is 1 and 1/8" wide and the tip is round and flat blunt - no diamonds, no wings, nothing like that. Just what you see here. I think. What's it for?

Can't nobody take a stab at this one? It seems like a pretty nice tool, I just can't figure what for. The tip is like a large diameter (maybe 10 or 12 gage needle size) but is flat as can be. the shaft is sturdy solid steel making it pretty heavy. Nice handle too. Must be a punch of some kind? Y'all aren't still mad about the backwards Phillips are ya?

Gearshift handle?

I'm not mad I guessed the phillips. This one I don't have a clue.

Maybe a hand punch for heavy fabric or thin leather, thats all can think of

Indeed you did nail the Phillips. I guess I'm SOL on this one :)

Is the tip sharp? It looks like some punches that I have seen that were for punching and countersinking sheet metal for screws at the same time.
