Bulletin:
The largely unnoticed "T" in the acronym PHARTS (Perfect Handle Admiration, Restoration, and Torturing Society) must be taken seriously by all those who own and love Perfect Handle tools. The other dark and rainy night I took in a couple of PHARTS victims. The before (the wrenches had been twins) and after photos below give the wrenching details of the misfortune that befell these wrenches.

Bob, are you sure the wrench has been modified? H D Smith did produce that style of adjustable.
Look at pg 10 of my HD Smith PDF- it shows that wrench on pg 16 of one of their catalogs.

The literature may have been used by a Perfect Handle camp, demonstrating how camp would straighten out any bent young wrench. On the other hand, a stout defense, Noel.

Pretty obvious to me that they are two different styles, not bent from the first example.
Indented area with maker info. is different shape altogether. Not possible to bend and make that indention look like that.
Just an observation on my part.

I would have to say that they are factory made... However it does give me some ideas... LOL

Guys, guys, I was not serious. The use of the word "Torturing " set me to thinking about what a tortured Perfect Handle might look like.
Just to add to the general pileup of information re: PH wrenches, the straight wrench is an 8-incher and the two S-adjustables are 6- and 10-inchers.

Oh, Sure, *now* you tell me, I just finished straightening all mine out on the forge....
-
LOL, Rusty.
-
I don't know these look happy to me... LOL
-
Wow! I own new PH tools and they never looked that shiny. Did you rough those guys up on a buffing wheel, or what?
-
They were shown lots of love...

Those are all mine that Brian did for me. They are truly happy!
