Was out in the shop looking for a Duro ratcheting box end that Amertrac had asked about(Didn't find it) and I stumbled on these two sockets. Never saw them before. I think someone puts tools in my shop at night while I'm sleeping (thats why I don't lock it)Anyway I had no clue as to what they are so I snapped a photo so I could get some input. They are 7/8 hex drive and 1 1/16 socket. one is 2 1/8 tall and other one is 2 inchs tall. Length difference is on socket end not drive end and I believe someone ground the short one down. Long one has a relief on socket id and short one does not so I believe they are same socket originally. I tried them on my D1083R John Deere handle an they fit so I'm guessing they are C1591R sockets. Anyone agree ? Pretty roughly made (almost missed body on broach on short one) Thanks to whoever felt them in my shop as I didn't have any sockets for my D1083R handle.

Jim the C1591R that I have is 7/8 hex drive and 1 1/16 socket and is 2 3/8 tall. Gill's book doesn't say how tall it is.
