Title: kraeuter doe wrench list
Post by: coolford on January 27, 2025, 10:58:19 AM
I have been trying to put together sets of the three Kraeuter doe wrenches, A, regular, B, s shape and C thin check nut.  For some reason I thought I had seen the list on Papaws, but a search does not show it.  I'm getting close, but without the list I don't know how many I'm missing.  Thanks, if you can help.

Possibly the listing on Alloy Artifacts?  I don't know if the lists are complete but they show open-end, "s" shape, and thin wrenches.

If you're missing any I can look in the garage,  I know i have at least a couple.

1925 Dunham Carrigan & Hayden Co. catalog Kraeuter ad pp 227

It appears that they've followed the standard convention in respect to assigning part numbers in 32nds of an inch: e.g., A-1316 = 16/32" or 1/2"

Kraeuter was not to far away from me in Newark NJ, so I see quite a few of their tools in my hunts (mostly pliers for some reason)
PM me a list of what you're looking for and I'll keep an eye open.

Thanks for the input, have been minus the web for awhile, so will get back to you after I check the list against the wrenches in my collection.

Although these lists are great, I have a couple that are not on these lists, so they may not be complete.  However, there are three wrenches that are not in my collection, so here are those I need.  In the straight regular DOE I need A-2426.  In the "S" type I need B-2830 and in the check nut/thin type I need C-1618.  As to the sizes, I have no idea what they would be as they jump around too much.  Any help getting these would be appreciated.
