Title: Pageant of Steam and Memphis (NY) Barn Sale
Post by: amecks on August 11, 2024, 09:06:38 AM
The Steam Pageant is a 5 day gathering of machinery just over an hour west of here.  They have a flea market loaded with all kinds of tools and everything else you can imagine.
I've posted stuff from there before, as well as the barn sale in Memphis NY which is only two miles away.
For $8 at the Steam Pageant I got an auto panel remover, two pliers - needlenose and a slightly wider jaw, and a Wilton clamp.  The pliers are in nice shape but have no markings.  The clamp is a quick set/release and works nicely.
The barn sale was a quick stop on the way to an appointment but I found an oil filter wrench I needed and a good wire wheel. Spent an entire dollar.

Hello, Muddy. That style clamp would be called an F-Clamp , or , F Style bar clamp , or Lever Clamp.

F clamp.  Did not know they had a name for that style.  What did Wilton call the quick clamp/release mechanism?
Thanks
