Haven't been able to find the ole site for 3 days now, though it seemed to be there a bit late yesterday. Is it me, or are they having an issue?
-
Would not show up for me, tried several times today

Same here. Oddly enough, the exact reverse happened a few months ago. This site wouldn't open with the same message. It healed after almost a week.
Going back years ago both crashed & had to be rebuilt. Alot of great info was lost.

Spoke with Jaf , they are trying to get ahold of rusty... stay tuned.

It's back up! Going to be upgraded.

Not for me, no bueno.
-
It's back out again.
Rusty must be doing the upgrades he spoke of this morning. I get nervous when these sites go missing. A couple of great resources (tool websites) have left the interweb over the years. I kick myself for not saving some of the info that I found & utilized there.
Even though the volume of daily posts here isn't what it used to be, there is a tremendous amount of knowledge in the past postings on this site as well as Garage Gazette. Some sort of parallel data saving or backup always available would be a great asset. I realize that we don't own the sites or the info, I guess being able to always rely on it being available would be a comfort.
Not wanting to go too far off topic, but this is one of the reasons that I have printed manuals for every vehicle & most equipment I have ever owned. I can find info even during Frontier DSL outages. My Sons research everything on youtube or via websites. I do too, but still get started with the hard copies.
Old man rant over!
