Title: Whale Tool Corp. - Pli-Rench

PIi-Rench by the Whale Tool Corp.  Patent #2489057, 1949.  Very similar to Vise-Grips these adjustable locking pliers have a sliding lower jaw to make gripping items easier. I picked these up at a local estate sale.

Got one, very unusual mechanism, looks to have stood up to some heavy use.
