Title: Wilton Electronic Vise
Post by: Yadda on December 04, 2021, 07:21:09 PM
I found this at an estate sale.  They didn’t know what it was.  It was in a pile of marked junk. I found it in the 1967 Wilton catalog price list.

Where do the batteries go?  Just kidding - I never heard of an electronic vise.  The jaws are an insulating material?  I like it - it looks like it could come in handy around the shop.

Essentially a hobby vise.  The jaw covers are rubber an reversible. One side has a v the other is flat.  I've always wanted a Wilton vise.  For the price I can't gripe.     Below is a screen shot of the 1974 catalog.

Nice find!! Probably would have made more sense if Wilton had labeled it "Electronics"

For gently holding circuit boards and suchlike things while working on them.  I didn't know Wilton made them.

Looks handy!

I hope so.  For the price I think it was worth the buy.
