Made this in freshman metal shop in 1948.  Made of lead (would they allow this today)?  Found it while cleaning out an old cabinet.

Still a few foundry classes out there, just had a visit from a friend who is still taking the class. Location? Freeburg, Il.
Oh and they would be aluminum or a pot metal, just lead no.
