Title: #2 Who made these pliers?
Post by: amecks on March 09, 2021, 09:08:37 PM
Here is a better look at the small gas pliers I posted in General Discussion.  Very unusual handle grip pattern.  Bill guessed Vacuum Grip, but I think a better look will show these don't have the classic Vacuum Grip dimples.  Other than the V mark on the pivot there are no markings anywhere.  Thanks for looking.

Nope definitely not vacuum grip
After seeing this photo Al I'm thinking possibly C. S. Osborne

Very close, Bill, but I see two differences.  The grip bumps are round but the Osborne are diamond shape.  Also the pivot is rounded and the Osborne is angled.  But it could be these are an earlier version of the Osborne plier shown on AA.  The other two pliers from this lot were very early versions (Smith & Hemenway and Utica).
