Title: PREXEMS adjustable wrench
Post by: Nasutushenri on December 13, 2020, 07:42:32 AM

Prexems 4 inch Crescent style. Never seen another with this name.

I had never seen one either.
Charity shop find a few weeks ago.
Mfg. by Ets. Vernet, Bondy (Seine), France.
Probably made in the 1930s or 1940s, apparently for export.
Marked: 12 INCH PREXEMS
Reverse: DROP-FORGED-STEEL
With right-hand knurl.

You guys may find the markings on one side of this Dunlap adjustable interesting. Apparently Sears bought German made tools right up to the beginning of WW2. In retrospect, probably not a great idea.

Yes. Close to the hanging hole on the Dunlap marked side.
