hello, Does anyone recognize this tool? Multitool? Crating Tool? Fencing tool? In raised lettering STABLE , MALLEABLE and what looks like PATENT PEND?? Thanks, Lou
-
good thing it was malleable. looks like the previous user beat the snot out of the hammerhead
-
And the flat area where it has Patent Pend!!! I don't think these types of tools were used by neurosurgeons!!
-
Might be a farm wrench for tractors or equipment.
-
I bet it is an old plow hammer--to knock the dirt off the plowshare and such. a little like this one.

I once had a Moline hammer like this one.

Never seen that one before. Neat!
-
New one for me. Cool tool!
-
Much better than having an unstable tool - you can never tell what they'll do
Or maybe it was intended for use in the stable.
-
To me it looks like a fire fighters tool.
-
I never did find any more info on it, the tool has since found a new home!!
-
Looks neat and something I've never seen before. How did you find this tool? Have you tried using it? How's the quality of the tool?
-
Found it at the local flea, and sold it quickly, never tried to use it!!
