Circa 1903 they are listed in the Directory Iron Steel works, they are a division of some other company by 1922.

"Crandal, Stone & Co., Incorporated, Binghamton. Product, carriage hardware stamped from tinplates and black plates. ... "

By 1917:"Crandal, Stone & Company, Binghamton, N. Y. Automobile and carriage top hardware, curtain fasteners, bow sockets, top braces, upholstery nails, snap fasteners, running board hangers, buckle loops, curtain lights, top prop nuts, curtain straps, etc. "

Oddly, the only adv I find for Zenith Bicycles is from the Zenith Cycle Co, Binghamton,NY (1897, The Age of Steel)

The location is too coincidental....
