Title: Blue Point Supreme tappet wrenches. Sorry, no pictures.
Post by: EVILDR235 on February 04, 2020, 06:39:51 PM
Went to the Habitat Restore today. Picked up about a dozen tools. Got 4 Blue point wrenches. 3 of the wrenches are the DOE long style tappet wrenches.

LTA1618 ----1/2 X 9/16

LTA--1416----7/16 X 1/2          All have a 1937 date code, chrome plating and good condition.

LTA-1416----7/16 X 1/2

The 4th wrench is a DBE.

Good tools to have if you work on old flathead side valve engines.

XS-1416----7/16 X 1/2          It has the E code. ( Emergency ) Plain finish and in good condition.

I finally got a full set of tappet wrenches after I no longer had any flathead motors.  So much of my life is like that...

A lot easier to do valve adjustments on a flathead if you have tappet wrenches.
