...the guys at work know I'm interested in old tools. Young Trevor brought these to me yesterday. They were in an old cabinet that was being scrapped. I cleaned them with hand wire brushes only, saving the patina. No name on the pipe wrench, only a cast in number that is hard to read - maybe a 6.

Don't get too curious or you'll get sucked into the black hole of garden cultivators, one-horse farm equipment, etc. S.L. Allen (Philadelphia) used PLANET JR as brand name for a whole line of small scale gardening & ag. tools including early "tractor." The wrench in this photo was for planters, cultivators, etc.

They made snow sleds, as well. Anything to make a buck.

I have the same Planet Junior wrench hanging in my garage. One of the few real old tools I own.
