Title: Tumbler items
Post by: lptools on October 09, 2019, 11:57:22 AM
Hello, Papaw. I have probably cleaned a few hundred wrenches & sockets in the tumblers with a good success rate. Here are a few pieces that I dug out for a test. I couldn't find a run of the mill combo that needed cleaning, I must be getting a little more selective with my buying, more likely that I don't remember where they are. :cheesy:

What's a good tumbler to buy, and how big do they get?

Hhello, Here is what the tools looked like after a couple hours in the tumbler, then a wipe down with WD-40. Most cleaned up well, the flat steel wrench still has quite a bit of pitting, as expected. Very happy with the results on the breaker bar, a Craftsman with an H circle logo. Regards, Lou

Hello, Skwrenchfind. Thanks!!! I have had mixed results with the tumbler, in some cases it is a useful tool ,  other times results can be disastrous!! Regards, Lou
