Title: a bad tool maybe

my son works at a dealership,he just told me one of the guys had one of these break,put a nice big hole is his hand.............was it this kind,,dont know but i am ordering myself one with an aluminum handle....yes i plug my tires

yeah, the two tire places I go to have been using patches on the inside of the tire for years now.

But I've got one of these, with a supply of plugs and glue. Just in case I get a flat away from town.

I carry a plug kit in my truck tool box. The cheapest place around here is Big O tires and they charge $24.95 to fix a nail hole.

Looks like the ones that come from the "Slime" kits from most big box stores.  My granddad keeps one in the farm shop for when a tractor or ATV tire gets a puncture.  But, I sure wouldn't have one for regular use. Just "in case" sort of stuff.

My view with cheap tools. It's not if they'll break, but when. And what kind of personal injury or property damage will happen as a result.
