At auction two weeks ago I bought a clean up table for $4.00 (Actually I bought three clean up tables, this was one). I threw everything on this table in a box and just got around to it yesterday. On both nippers it says Todd's Pat. and Made in USA but no mention of the maker. The 10" is a #3 and the 12" a #1. As you can see, both are in fairly decent condition. Who made them? They didn't look like this before I cleaned them.

Todd's patent = (http://www.datamp.org/patents/displayPatent.php?number=285446&typeCode=0 ). It appears he was making them at his own company in the 1890s -- don't know how long production was carried on.

I had a pair once but I thought that it would be appropriate to send them to Todd Werts. (Twertsy)

Thanks Stan, I had a different 10 inch for years but it is not as good as this one and had never seen a 12 inch.
