Title: 1/2” duro chrome ratchet
Post by: lazyassforge on July 21, 2019, 07:21:20 PM
I picked up this ratchet the other day. It has both a male side and a female side. It also has a reversing lever. I’ve never seen one like it. Works good too!

Probably made to use with the Duro/Indestro double male ended extension. http://alloy-artifacts.org/duro-indestro-p3.html

I’ve had several of those in various sizes since my primary interest is WW2 tools.
Here are some pictures. The first two are 1/2” drive. The second two are 3/8” drive. The last two are 1/4” drive socket sets.

Thanks for the information! I just realized that somehow I put the post in the wrong section! I meant to put it in the wrench section. I just planned to put the ratchet in my using box. I just thought it was neat that it had the female drive in it!

I think their thinking was that it could work as both the earlier female drive and the contemporary 1/2” male drive.
