Title: Bench Standards
Post by: lptools on July 02, 2019, 06:42:18 PM
Hello, I believe these are called bench standards. ( mounting posts for sheet metal machines) . These are unmarked, and have an unusual clamping post, coarse adjustment like a notched bar clamp, and final tightening with the clamp screw. The thickness of bench this would be able to attach to is much greater than a fixed clamp base. I was wondering if anyone has seen this style before, or knows of the manufacturer? Thanks, Lou

Pexto, Niagara, Brown & Boggs and others made them.Pic of my favorite spiral crimp for flue pipe, specially bought it to do child's stove pipes. paid a whole 35$ probably would have gone 10 times that much but didn't need too. Only spiral I have seen in person.Catalog pic is from pexto 1910
