I purchased a 5 gallon bucket of mostly junk tools from the guys at a neighborhood golf course (have purchased there before).

At the top left a Dayton 4x464 screwdriver; Craftsman 236565 hacksaw - I have a drawer in the garage where I stash these kind of saws; battery lifting strap - no name - made from double sided v belt material; KD428 clamp pliers; very cheap flat nose pliers - unmarked; Japan tool kit screwdriver lightweight, great for auto or cycle tool kit; Moore pliers with screwdriver blade handle; Vaco Phillips bits No. 2 and No. 4 (!) I don't think I have a No. 4 bit or even a screwdriver that large; E.C. Stearns & Co. multi wrench, Stearns was once a large Syracuse NY hardware manufacturer; Lectrolite box wrench 3/4 x 25/32; two tape measures TrueValue and a 10' Craftsman 3450 in excellent condition; Unusual wire brush - I found this called a block brush but still not sure what it would be used for - screws onto a broom handle and branded HDX; unknown unmarked brass device, possibly a soapstone holder? I don't have any square soapstone here at home but I think its too small for soapstone - the inside is only 3/16" wide.

I added the recently found new Nicholson blade

What the heck is it?

Hello, Al. Nice haul!! Stearns made bicycles and lawnmowers, I could never get a definite answer if those wrenches were for either, or both. Maybe one of the wrench guys could help. I run into those #4 Phillips screws at work once in a while, so I keep a #4 screwdriver in the truck. Regards, Lou

The brass item looks like a primer holder for black powder guns.

He shoots. He scores! Gooooooooooooooooooal! Great ID!

Wow! Thanks! I'll ask some of the shooters I know if they can use it.
The Stearns wrench has 19/32, 3/8 and 5/16 openings.

Heck yeah, nice group!
I have/had a EC Stearns wrench around here. I believe it was a tractor plow wrench, from my research at the time (2010). Very old company, from the late 1850's.

"He primes! He shoots! He hits the target!" may be a more appropriate metaphor.
