Hello, Skip.Do you mean jeweler's tools? If so, I know a few by sight, and I have a catalog here from S. La Rose . "The Bench Book" for jewelers & Horologists. Post a few pics, or PM me, and I will look in the catalog later today.. Regards, Lou

Hello, Skip. That is quite a haul!! I may not be much help, a lot of that stuff looks like it pre-dates my catalog.I would still be glad to look again if you have a specific piece in mind. Regards, Lou
-
nice, really wondering what those two wooden looking things are, yellow and silver?????
-
I am guessing they are hand vises, or clamps. Regards, Lou
-
Yep, those are hand vices. The open end is padded so as not to damage the jewelry. The wedge just slides into the back to tighten the vice on the work piece.
-
Thanks everyone for all the help
I went back today for the rest of the jewelry stuff.
I found some jewelers tool catalogs, that should help with ID.
I now have thousands of crystals, crowns, stems, mainsprings and other tiny things that I have no clue what to do with.
I can prolly help you fix that 2 dollar watch from 1963, but why would you?
so far nothing says Rolex on the package

Look online for vintage Watch Repair, with that list you should be able reach out to a large group of people that might be interested in your new (old) stock.

Thise staking sets always seem to be pretty valuable.
Did you get the jewelers lathe? That's what I'd have jumped on.

Yes, often used for rings and bracelets; some have reversible ends (padded in leather on one end...not on the other).
That is quite a haul. Looks like a couple of saws back in the one corner. Nice.

The non padded end is for the wedge. Called ring clamps, but mi think of them as finger savers. Hold on while buffing/ polishing.
They can get real fancy. Pic coming.

Hello, Skip. Is the staking set on the right made by Kendrick Davis? If so , I just re-printed some of the original paperwork from an Inverto Set, you are welcome to a copy if you want it. Regards, Lou

Fourth over from the bottom right - brown handle, short oval smooth shaft - is probably a scraper burnisher.

"is probably a scraper burnisher."
I believe that is most likely correct. I have a similar one which has rounded edges and a curved "blade".

Straight up burnisher. Jewelers use those all the time. Also come with agate ends. Burnishers have a lot of uses, but one of the most common uses is to smooth metal over the edges of cabochons. I use the agate one for keum bo. Basically you heat up silver and burnish a very thin piece of gold onto the silver. After being fused together and burnished the join is permanent.
