Title: Vlchek nut drivers
Post by: Northwoods on June 18, 2019, 10:14:06 PM
Got a question. Who can tell me the sizes of all the Vlchek nut drivers--the ones with the chunky black wood handles. I have 1/4, (and 5/16), 11/32, 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2. What else should I hope to fine?

I don't know about Vlchek but the largest nutdrivers I've seen (VACO) go to 9/16". I had a complete set that went to 1/2".

Some other brand went to 5/8" I think. After that the small driver grip doesn't give one enough torque to get any bigger stuck fasteners off.

The only Vlchek nutdriver reference I can find is in a ‘63 price sheet. They are shown from 3/16” to 5/8”. Most of my wood handle nutdrivers are Walden Spintites.

I just picked up 2 Spintites that are 5/8"

Hollow shaft, bruiser size.
