Saw my first Ford wrench "in the wild' Saturday
Was a combo open-end, It didn't have size/s stamped on it
Had small raised flats at each end where something could have been placed
Both ends looked to be well over 1" in size
I didn't buy it since the wrench bug hasn't bitten as yet, just thought it was interesting

Be careful, finding a rusty Ford combo wrench in a vacant lot when I was 12 years old started my tool hoarding. Collecting?... no, hoarding, I'm a hoarder. There are plenty of folks who collect old automotive and motorcycle tools.

i found some wrenches today at the Restore and just pulled them out of the scrap bin without looking at most of them. I'm not really a collector; more of a "saver". At least one was Williams I think.

Last weekend and today I was at swap meets selling tools. I brought a nice box of reasonably priced Ford wrenches including pliers and an adjustable and a nice example of the plow wrench. None of them sold. I did sell stuff, though. Sold $90 last week ($30 for gas) and $190 this week ($5 for gas).

I took a bucket of stuff to a swap meet 2 weeks ago and sold it to a seller for $225.
He wanted to give me $160, I threw some more on the pile and he came up.
3 old Snappy T spinners (one with no center grip, one with pinched retainer center grip, and one with detent balls center grip)
2 double headed adjustables (8X10 Crescent and 6X8 Diamond Calk Horseshoe)
2 Ford logo speed wrenches
A Winchester plane
Being a wise shopper, I had less than $20 and some clean-up time invested.
But the buyer got a good deal. I like it that way, because I want to be welcome when I visit him again.

Hello, Al. I am glad that I made at least a small contribution to your gas money ($5.00)!!! Regards, Lou
