Title: National Screw & Mfg Chester No 41 Hoist
Post by: Powrgen3313 on April 02, 2019, 07:08:48 PM
Was going to restore this but i decided its too big/heavy to hang up here. It appears to be fully funtional, all chains and hooks are there. Hoist originally belonged to the MIT nuclear science department, still has MIT tag and serial number riveted on the face, so it has an interesting history.  I also put it up on EBAY. Model is a No 41  1/2 Ton Chester Hoist. Shipping to US only, buyer pays shipping costs. I will accept paypal.

How long is the lift chain and the hand chain. All the Chesters I have worked on were originally red. 1'2 ton would be a handy size.
