Title: Disston h-4 saw ??

I picked up a Disston D-23 and a H-4 saw. Unless my search skills went south, I dont find any data on the H-4.
Not the best pic but you can make out the etching.
I do understand I might be missing the boat completely,but I did scan the etching and didnt see any other model number.
Any info out there ??

Looks like a 42-55 medallion if that is helpful.

Based on the blade etchings it looks to be a newer saw. Can you get another picture of the complete saw and a close up of the handle and button.
National hardware special, 26" 8TPI but still no age.

From Wikipedia:
The first National Hardware Show took place in New York City in 1945 and was created by Abe Rosenburg of General Tools, along with Charlie Snitow, General's Chief Legal Council.

In the early 1960s, Reed Exhibitions (previously Cahners Expositions Group) acquired Snitow's trade show business. The Show moved to Chicago's new McCormick Lakeside exhibit hall in 1975. In February 2003, Reed Exhibitions announced that the National Hardware Show was moving to Las Vegas.

It would seem that your saw would be no older than 1945, but probably newer.
