Built myself a wood tool box for my tool set back in the late 70s. Got really ragged out and last year I decided to build a new one for the same tool set.
The original from the 70s to 2017.

For the new box, I used Walnut and brass hardware. The drawer box is Birdseye Maple with a Walnut front. This new box should last me the rest of my life.

Very nice! You need a tool box so you don't lose those tools! I like the metalwork on the tray in the original box. The new box is beautiful.

Al, that tray is the reason I didn't pitch the old box after making the new one. ;-)
