I picked up this Chrome Alloy No. 4070 1/2" ratchet over the weekend. I looked it up on AA and found that it was made by SK Tools. However , the pic they show is a bit different than this one. The selector lever , rivet's and handle are different. But , you can tell it's the same ratchet. The last pic is from AA. What do you guys think ??

I would say that is a homemade lever to replace a missing or broken one. I have several Plomb ratchets that have homemade replacement levers. It's nice somebody took the time to fix it and not toss it in the scrap pile.

I think you got a darned nice ratchet.

rivets are horizontal on one, vertical on the other
similar, but not exact

...suggesting that they have a different setup inside.

The handle is ass backwards as well.

That's bass ackward in polite company, pleezeā¦.

With those markings I would say S-K made for their Brazil Tool line.

If it is a home made selector knob they did a nice job and made it look slick.
