Title: Came out of a box lot, didn't know what it was at first

Stillman's patent 1848, its a saw set.  At first glance it doesn't look like a saw set as it is different than most models.

from your picture, it surely looks like a saw, maybe due to the fact that I have the same.

good wall hanger to make folks ask about it.

There are at least two different sizes. Yours looks like the smaller one, which seems to be more common.
