Title: Pliers Whatzit

My wife recently found these pliers at a garage sale.  They are signed Atlas Tool Co.  One handle is factory forged as a screwdriver and the other is rounded.  The curious thing is that the front view of the jaws shows teeth, as well as in the usual position.  Does anyone have any idea what these may have been manufactured for?  Thanks.

I have a pair of these, use those jaws for twisting wire.  Always thought they were linemans pliers.   Recently saw them listed as gas mans pliers?

Gas fitters used them to pipe houses & buildings in the time when gas ;ighting was common.
1 set of teeth fit the pipe size and the second fits the wrought fittings in use back then.

Each pair fit a pipe size.
