It included an Estate Sale in Waverly, some yard sales locally, and a humongous tool auction in Raymond that was very lightly attended and prices reflected that. Imagine a 225 amp Lincoln arc welder going for $22.50, a ShopMaster do everything wood working set (maybe $4-5k new?) went for $75. Wish I'd had more cash to sink into this stuff, but that's life. I think I'll do this one photo at a time.
Photo number 1 Has some misc old wrenches that went for like $2. The big alligator is a 16" Waldman Bushnell and the teeth are less than perfect.
-
Photo number 2 has a preview of what's to come.... The Disston Oldie is in a later photo, but these two comprised of a Millers Falls and an EC Atkins. The two little monkey wrenches are no namers, but the upper right one is a Bemis and Call(?) and the 445 is a Pexto.
-
Photo number 3 has 450 is a HD Smith Perfect Handle, and the big one is a Williams . The 453 being a JH Williams also, the the 449 is a Coes Wrench and the little one underneath it is an Oak Leaf., Lot 435 was a #51 hand plane and the other misc. tools to the right side.

Photo number 4: 471 is a handful of S wrenches I might've bid $4 for. The 415 is a couple of alligator(?) flexible jaw wrenches from Lake Superior Tool Co. that also included the funky tongs and the Bell Systems Wrench right above it. The 414 Silver Steel Shears and the other stuff was like a dollar. From top to bottom in the middle this stuff came in a box lot on a your choice bid for maybe 4 or 5 bucks. It had the Perfect Handle Screwdriver, the ratchets underneath it which had two Dunlaps, a couple of no names US mades (patent number says Indestro/Duro), a cheapie, and a Diamond Calk Horseshoe Adj. wrench that I found at a yard sale locally for 25 cents. It will need some TLC. The ratchet wit h the two square holes in the handle and it's matching socket is the one that has me baffled. Anyone now the history on this little jewel??

Photo number 5: The 336 is a 16" Williams, then another Perfect Handle(rough shape but it IS a PH), 368 is a Defiance plane, 367 is another Coes wrench and it's mate, a Girardo or something like that, lettering is hard to read. The Hinsdale S-15 came out of the WD 40 long enough for the photograph and it loosened up finally with it's 3rd round of PB Blaster. It came from the box that had the other ratchets in it in the previous photo. I think I paid $20 for the 3 Wescotts total in three bids, but the 12" one on the left is nearly perfect. The 10" and 8" aren't far behind that.
-
Photo number 6: Top to bottom, the 18" Plomb pipe wrench from the Estate sale, the Disston oldie that I have no clue how old it is, but it's a 10" blade and the raised lettering surely dates it. The Blue Grass needle nose(very clean BTW) came from a yard sale for like $2, 346 is a RussWin monkey wrench, a couple of old Schrader tire gauges, and a photo of the Miniature Train and Railroad Company Torque Wrench(Glenn Elyn IL.) I found a couple of weeks ago while the site was nuked. Cool history behind this Sturdevant design.
I'll try to get the photos up on the Estate Post later on. Going to lay low after last weekend, got "chores" to do yanow....

I'd say you did pretty well!
-
Ide say thats so the best tool weekend ever.
Nice haul
-
That is quite some score!!
Those "funky tongs" you referenced in lot 415 are actually pig catching tongs. We had a thread or two about them before the big "crash of ott eleven" here on tooltalk.
-
Looks like you scored a complete tool collection in one trip ; )
The left of the 2 little "monkey wrenches" is probably a Vandegrift, dunno what the other one is tho.

The rachet and sockets look like (Chicago Mfg. & Distributing Co.) but the ones Iv'e seen are clearly marked.
Any numbers on the "T" wrench ? I've seen it but don't have ID on it. Could be Deere.
