This looks interesting. The 7th is my birthday and a Saturday so I can do whatever I want, right? 2-1/2 hours to Corning from here.
Spotted on Craigslist (Elmira):
TOOL SALE (Emanuel Lutheran Church)
Large tool sale by the Men in Mission Group at Emanuel Lutheran Church. The sale will be held at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Corning. We will be selling used hand tools of all kinds plus a few electrical and sporting goods items. Sale will start at 8:00 AM on April 7.
All proceeds will benefit the Men's Nicaragua Project.
I can't seem to post links or links to pictures lately.

I think I saw an ad for this a month ago on CL. If I'm not too busy I was going to take a ride down to it. At the very least I'll see different things that I wouldn't see in my area.

I hope you drive home with your car's/truck's springs groaning.
Does Corning still give tours? Our honeymoon trip went through upstate New York, and I remember the Corning tour from that trip...well, I remember other things from that trip, too...and we've been married 47 years.

Maybe I'll see you there Ken. I'll probably be wearing a hat with a Royal Enfield logo.
Bill, The Corning Museum of Glass is a big deal. I've never been there but nearby is the Glenn H Curtiss Museum in Hammondsport. Great place to visit and affordable. Airplanes, motorcycles, cars, firearms, lots of WWII stuff, items from the period of Curtiss' life in the early 20th century. And do not miss the restoration shop with its machinery and the wall of tools.
Papaw - any idea why I cannot post photos or links? Tried at home last night and not working here at my shop either. Al

Don't know why you can't. I can here.
