Fantastic!

For anyone intending to use my absentee bidder services, the best way to submit absentee bids is by e-mail (mvwcnews@gmail.com) with lot #, key word (to make sure), max price , and your contact info.
My "part time in retirement" job has an erratic schedule with mostly afternoon & evening hours, and "days off" are random ones in mid-week -- lately Tuesdays & Thursdays -- so getting me on the phone is iffy as I cannot use my phone at work.
Thanks, Stan S.

Made it to York, looks like it will be an expensive weekend. Snow in the forecast for tomorrow night and into Saturday with wind to add in on the fun.

It is a lot worse in the northern part of Nebraska, forecast anyway. Going to be nasty enough right here, that we're getting a weekends worth of food by tomorrow. One of these days will make it to York

I just (finally) made it home yesterday evening. The meet was great, and so was the auction. Everyone I spoke with had a really fun time. The only nasty part was afterwards, driving home on icy roads. Good thing I had an extra hundred pounds or so of old wrenches in the back seat for weight!
-
At a rest stop in eastern Nebraska, trying to get some circulation back in my knuckles.

I made it home today. Drove about 660 miles yesterday, 300+ in the snow and ice and the rest in the wet. Drove another 660 or so today all rain. Great weekend came home broke but had a great time.
I took my Hillary Klein wrench collection for display and won the best display award from the club, I got a nice plaque for the award.
Added 2 new Hilary Klein miniatures to the collection plus a few other wrenches. I'll get pictures up later.
I think everyone went home with a little extra weight for traction in the snow and ice.
We saw a few cars, small trucks and semi's in the ditches on the way home Sunday.

Glad to hear you made it safely (both ways) and able to get home with your extra "passengers".
-
Hello, Also glad that you are both home safe!!!! Money wisely spent for traction and your collection!! Regards, Lou

Was thinking about this when the wind was blowing on Saturday. Come Sunday my road was blown shut, was late evening before the plow came through. Spent some money on Friday on fine used stuff, so scratched the itch for awhile. Glad you made it home ok.
