Title: Quick trip to pawn shop on lunch hour...
Post by: amecks on March 08, 2018, 08:40:22 PM
I noticed that a pawn shop near work had advertised some tools on CL.  I popped over on my lunch hour.  They did have some possible collectible older wrenches.  But I didn't find anything I wanted except for a large box of "junk" marked anything $1.50.
I poked around in the box and I pulled out a screwdriver handle marked Vaco (I like Vaco tools).  So it looks like the handle of a six-way screwdriver.  I look and there's a six-way shaft - click - it fits!  I found one bit for it also.  When I got home after work I went to my spare screwdriver box and found another matching bit.  So here's a Vaco with #1 & #2 Phillips and 3/16 & 1/4 flat blades.  I see these things are not cheap on eBay - apparently they are related to the Klein driver of the same number (32460) and the Kleins sell for about $40.
Also picked up a like new Stanley screwdriver - the cheap yellow and black handle type.  And a K-D 129 12volt electrical tester with no wire.  Back at work I took it apart and soldered in a wire with an alligator clip on the end and it works.
