Title: Ratchet Socketool / Tabby Cat Food
Post by: lptools on November 20, 2017, 05:33:27 PM
Hello, I found this at the flea on Sunday. I have quite a few of the Ratchet Socketools, some with company, & bank stampings. This is a first for me, a complete set ( I think), in a plastic case. What intrigues me is the Tabby Cat Food label. Was this a promo? Salesman's giveaway? The company that made these was, I believe, Shelton. I have seen other kits made for jeep . Regards, Lou

Sweet! That looks like a great tool to keep in the house.  I had a screwdriver version that had Bubble Up, the lemon lime soda, printed on the handle top.

I don't know, but there was a cartoon in our San Francisco paper for years starring Farley, the ex-park ranger, whose pet raven owned both SAE and metric sockets and wrenches.  Maybe there are cats who work on their houses or cars.

What automobile do cats prefer?  Jaguars, of course!

I had one that was inscribed on the tool itself. I believe it was a promotional/give-away thing for a while.
