Sock it to me...

Shades of the late Sixties ! Even Nixon once said - "Sock it to me !!"

In the close-fought election of 1968, the buttoned-down Richard Nixon unexpectedly popped-up on the sketch show Laugh-In, which was considered risqué for the time.
