Title: Fray No 122 brace question

Just picked up a nice working Fray #122 at a thrift store for $2. My question is this, it has a New Britain chuck on it, is this original or is it a replacement? I've seen others with John S. Fray stamped on the chuck.

It's correct for the tool and not a replacement, that's good to know. Thanks!
