I thought you folks might enjoy following along on this effort once in a while, or perhaps some of you may be able to help. I have been digging up "obscure" tool (wrench) companies and documenting tidbits of information about them as I find it, integrated with the more common manufacturers. Things like copyrights, brands, patents, significant events, etc. I'm even diving in and finding the patent(s) that were the impetus for the company founding. Hell, I simply searched "wrench company" on newspapers from 1800 - 1950 and added close to 100 companies to the list just this week!
Anyway, take a look, chime in, comment on the page either here or on my site. I'm currently going back through and doing a bit deeper dive on the more obscure companies and I'm down to Davis Wrench Company of Elmira now so bear with me as I work my way down through the list, it takes a while. They are in alphabetical order for the most part.

Todd, I found a minor mistake. When clicking on the Athol Tool Co. history, it brings up the Atha Tool Co. history.
Thanks for the great work! Very informative.

Mike....................I'm a little confused? What do you think clicking on "Go Here For Company History" under Atha Tool Co. should bring up? I checked, it's not still Monday!

No problem Todd, with all you're doing it's easy to overlook things. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Mike.
Anyone ever heard of a "Fones" pipe wrench, or one labeled Fones? If you take a look at the page reference above, I've found 3 patents by Mr. Fones, as well as an incorporation notice for the company, but I cannot find anything beyond that. 3 wrench patents typically means at least one of them was produced by somebody, but DATAMP doesn't even have the patents listed.
