Title: Hey it's a saw set!
Post by: oldgoaly on April 14, 2017, 02:05:40 PM
After looking at saw set webpage for ??? what year is it? time flies when you start looking on that page!
It sort of looks like a Sterns  William Potter patent  on this page http://members.acmenet.net/~con12a/saw%20set%20website/plier1.htm
Save you time looking did a screen shot of the one. Not a double hump like this one but as close as any on the site. or did I miss one or two? :embarrassed:

Yah, there are SO many different saw set pliers out there it's ridiculous. So far I've managed to avoid the slippery slope of collecting them.

That's the Bactrian version of that particular saw set:

I hear you, Plyerman.  I wound up with a whole box of saw sets - mostly for free, the rest for cheap - a few years back, and realized there was a trap there, waiting for me.  The Habitat ReStore wound up with most of them.
