After looking at saw set webpage for ??? what year is it? time flies when you start looking on that page!
It sort of looks like a Sterns William Potter patent on this page http://members.acmenet.net/~con12a/saw%20set%20website/plier1.htm
Save you time looking did a screen shot of the one. Not a double hump like this one but as close as any on the site. or did I miss one or two? :embarrassed:

Yah, there are SO many different saw set pliers out there it's ridiculous. So far I've managed to avoid the slippery slope of collecting them.

I hear you, Plyerman. I wound up with a whole box of saw sets - mostly for free, the rest for cheap - a few years back, and realized there was a trap there, waiting for me. The Habitat ReStore wound up with most of them.
