Title: At the market
Post by: lptools on April 02, 2017, 08:23:30 AM
Hello, I went to the market late, but I was able to find this piece. I think I know its use, but I bought it for the label. Has anyone seen one of these before? There are a couple patent dates on the body, but that would make this too easy!!!! Regards, Lou

Has two uses as a splice tool for wires.
1. hold wires to facilitate a crimp fitting
2. to join wires together by twisting

Hello, Bill. Thanks for the info. I bought it thinking it is a crimper. My Crescent Catalog shows it as a Sleeve Wrench, and is used as you have described. I did not realize that Crescent Tool Co. made Linemen's Tools. Thanks again, Lou
