Post by: Papaw on March 01, 2017, 08:02:53 PM
ANNOUNCEMENT:  The UK Tools and Trades History Society is now publishing "whatsits" on its revised website at www.taths.org.uk/tools-and-trades/queries  where there are several mysterious old tools resisting all attempts to identify them. Please have a look and add any information you can as a comment. Other parts of the site show the society's activities, shop, archive publications and articles on tools and trades. More info at taths.org.uk.

Those are some interesting things, but, don't we have enough problems here identifying tools from two dozen trades, half of which are very near extinct?   Darn good challenge though, thanks.
