Title: Oddball Hammer
Post by: mikeswrenches on October 19, 2016, 02:29:00 PM
Twilight Fenrir,

Hammer measures 6 1/8 in. across the face. Faces measure 1/2 in. by 1 1/2 in. Handle is 16 in. long overall. Head weight is 2 1/2 lbs.

I think it is actually a saw doctors hammer but would seem to be good for smithing purposes too. But that is just a guess on my part.

Looks like a stone mason's hammer.

Polished face indicates a smithing hammer.  Silversmithing.

But I want to guess that this is a farriers hammer
