Title: Goodell-Pratt bit brace
Post by: Nasutushenri on August 28, 2016, 08:57:38 AM
Yesterday I bought an  old bit brace in a charity shop for € 2.50. Rusty and dirty. Could not find any maker’s mark. At home it turned out a GOODELL-PRATT No. 2510. A rare find in the Netherlands.
This site: http://oldtoolheaven.com/price/price.htm#brace says “Braces cleaned with a buffing wheel or wire wheel have functional value but are not collectable”.  What shall I do now, leave it as found or restoration ?
