Widest part of the head is 1" thick.

I like their solution for the grip. The bar in the middle prevents misshapen or crushed grips.

Hello, Heelspur. Tower & Lyon would be my guess. Regards, Lou

I'm thinking the same as Lptools, Tower & Lyons out of New York

Hello, Check out Patent Number 48027. Tower & Lyon Boardman's Patent Combination Tool. They made a few wrenches, but I couldn't dig up anything on the one you posted, Lou
-
Probably a prototype or cutaway drawing. If you really want to be confused, try to figure out the wording used by Patent Lawyers!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Somewhere on here Stan posted all the makers of the S style crescent wrenches.
-
Thanks for the info. I'd like to find that list.
-
I can't find the old thread that Stan listed the different makers so I guess we can start another list.
Barcalo Buffalo
Bemis & Call
Billings & Spencer
Bonney
Ellis
Fordson
Robinson
Tower & Lyon
United Shoe Machinery
Westcott Keystone
These are the one I can think of so far.
